Some questions we get asked pretty often…

Are pets allowed? If so, how many and what sizes?

As much as we love pets, for the comfort of all our guests we have a strict no pets policy.
What time is check-in and check-out normally?

Check-in time is 4:00PM. Check-out is 10:00AM.
Do you comply with the new short-term rental regulations?

Yes we do! We are pleased to comply with short-term rental legislation and local bylaws. We provide long- term accommodation in a separate building on the property for a local resident. Please note that they do not provide caretaker services for Chesterman House.
Do we need to bring our own linen and towels?

We provide linens and towels for showering. Please bring your own beach towels.
Are sales tax included in the rental fee?

Applicable taxes: GST, PST & MRDT.
Is there an additional cleaning fee?

$200 plus taxes on checkout. Additional fees may apply if the house requires extensive cleaning.
Is Chesterman House accessible for people with mobility impairments?

There is a flight of stairs to the main living area on the second floor.
Is there a hot tub on site?

Yes, overlooking Chesterman Beach and the Pacific Ocean …
How far is the closest hospital/emergency room?

5 miles/7 km into town.
How close is the nearest grocery store/supermarket?

1 mile/2 km from Chesterman House, small resort grocery store. 5 miles / 7km into town for the large grocery store.
